1.500 impoverished girls now have the opportunity to take dance, music, and art workshops thanks to a partnership between the Tomorrowland Foundation and Ek Tara that saw the opening of the second Tomorrowland Foundation Music & Arts School in Kolkata, India, last year. An exclusive Tomorrowland Foundation capsule collection has been created based on the artwork produced by the students in these classes, embroidering the artwork on exquisite apparel & accessories, including t-shirts, hoodies, tote bags, bucket hats, laptop sleeves, and makeup bags.
The Tomorrowland Foundation supports nonprofit organizations, such as Mobile School, which specializes in working with street children around the world, that give disadvantaged children and teenagers the chance to express themselves creatively through music, dance, and art and build their self-esteem. In Sekha, a little Nepalese village in the middle of the Himalayas, the first Tomorrowland Foundation Music & Arts School opened its doors in 2018, giving over 300 kids the chance to take music & art classes and express themselves creatively. A third Tomorrowland Foundation Music & Arts School will be constructed in Brazil and set to open its doors in 2024 after the second Tomorrowland Foundation Music & Arts School in Kolkata, India, opens in 2022.
