Portola Music Festival Announces Artist Lineup for 2026 Edition

Today, Goldenvoice announces the return of Portola Music Festival – San Francisco’s premier celebration of dance music – taking place Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27 at Pier 80.

Portola’s 2026 lineup is spearheaded by globally acclaimed Swedish dance-pop visionary Robyn. Fresh off the release of her latest album Sexistential, Portola marks Robyn’s only festival appearance of the year. She’ll be joined on Saturday by co-headliner DOG BLOOD – the famed Skrillex & Boys Noize project – reuniting for the duo’s first show under the moniker since 2019 and singular performance of 2026.

Legendary electronic trio Swedish House Mafia, the Grammy-nominated group widely credited with helping bring stadium-scale dance music into the global mainstream, make Portola one of their only two currently announced US appearances in 2026. Meanwhile, Swedish hitmaker Zara Larsson – whose songs move seamlessly between festival stages, club systems, and collective singalong – brings her Midnight Sun era to San Francisco.

Portola’s 2026 lineup also traces the many ways underground sounds have moved into wider cultural focus across generations. This year, that spirit comes into focus through an appearance from Four Tet, one of electronic music’s most revered architects. Another one of the scene’s pioneering figures, Tiësto, will put his larger than life anthemic festival productions on full display in a can’t be missed set in the Warehouse.

Tove Lo completes the Swedish holy trinity of dance-pop icons on the 2026 lineup, with her signature blend of vulnerability and late-night hedonism, while legacy Belgian electronic group Soulwax bring their innovative and forward-thinking rock meets electronic productions into the fold.

Making its highly-anticipated Portola return is DESPACIO – the high-powered, enclosed, sound system and immersive audio experience designed by James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem, David and Stephen Dewaele of 2ManyDJs and Soulwax, and sound engineer John Klett.

Portola’s lineup further expands as Beastie Boys co-founder Mike D brings his new project Mike D 5D to the pier, one of his only announced performances of the year. Elsewhere, the deep selections of Hessle Audio’s Ben UFO, the enduring dancefloor legacy of Groove Armada, trailblazing dance music titan Fatboy Slim, Caribou’s club-driven Daphni alias, and the boundary-pushing pulse of UK duo Overmono each reflect Portola’s instinct for artists who have carried left-field sounds into bigger rooms without losing their edge.

A vast array of eclectic live acts such as UK grime icon Skepta, Australian electropop group Parcels, fellow Australian dance futurist Ninajirachi, contemporary R&B and progressive electronic songstress Kelela, versatile beatsmith Channel Tres, English superproducer SG Lewis (Live), Slovakian singer ADÉLA, buzzy New York dance duo Fcukers, and queen of the Perreo rave Six Sex all bring varied styles and sonics to the mix. In a move that speaks to Portola’s instinct for the unexpected, Melanie C – globally recognized as Sporty Spice of the Spice Girls – will perform a special DJ set, bringing a flash of pop nostalgia into the festival’s ever-expanding dancefloor orbit.

Portola also delivers some of electronic music’s most buzzed about next generation talent – from meteoric risers and high-bpm floor fillers KETTAMA, horsegiirL, and Marlon Hoffstadt, to Brazilian flag bearer Mochakk, UK duo Prospa – whose recent string of releases have quickly become fixtures of this summer’s club circuit – and rising house sensations Beltran b2b Ben Sterling, Chloé Caillet, Max Styler, and Dean Turnley among others.

Portola’s Bay Area identity comes into sharper focus through DJ Shadow, the storied Northern California producer celebrating 30 years of his landmark album Endtroducing….., a record that helped reshape the possibilities of sample-based music. He’ll be joined by the rapidly ascendant and unclassifiable underscores, making their Portola debut, in addition to rising local selectors erika b2b sfcowboy and the Program Audio collective – artists and communities helping fuel a new wave of national attention around the Bay Area’s evolving underground music scene.

Entering its fifth year, Portola has rapidly become a defining fixture of San Francisco’s contemporary electronic scene, merging global electronic talent with the city’s longstanding underground dance legacy inside the raw industrial backdrop of Pier 80. The festival continues to champion a distinctly Bay Area vision of dance music culture – irreverent, community-driven, and deeply rooted in the spirit of the rave. Through Goldenvoice’s year-round presence at iconic venues including The Regency Ballroom, The Warfield, and Frost Amphitheater – alongside its continued investment in the city’s nightlife ecosystem through the recently launched Club Darc – Portola further reinforces San Francisco’s place as a global destination for forward-thinking music and nightlife culture.

This year Portola will also offer the Captain’s Club experience, an elevated hospitality package featuring all VIP ticket amenities alongside access to an exclusive double-decker viewing deck and lounge at the Pier Stage, on-stage access within the Warehouse, hosted bar service, a dedicated merch concierge, and first access to all Portola Week shows. Guests will additionally enjoy curated culinary offerings from San Francisco favorite Bodega SF, known for its elevated family-style Northern Vietnamese cuisine, alongside coffee and tea service from acclaimed local café The Coffee Movement throughout the weekend.
