Where forward-facing house music and underground sensibilities converge, a new chapter in club curation unfolds. Max Styler returns with “NEXUS 002,” a carefully assembled compilation EP that bridges tech house, indie dance, and melodic club textures, out now via his own Nu Moda imprint.
“NEXUS 002” arrives as the next installment in Styler’s ongoing series spotlighting cutting-edge producers shaping the global dance floor. Expanding on the foundation laid by its predecessor, the compilation delivers a cohesive yet wide-ranging journey through modern club sounds, balancing peak-time functionality with nuanced sonic exploration. Featuring contributions from Nico Rac, Knorst, Andrew Meller, Rem Siman, Jonathan, PETEL & MADI, and Greggio, the compilation underscores Styler’s sharp ear for emerging and established talent alike.
Released via Nu Moda, the project reinforces the label’s growing identity as a hub for forward-thinking house music and genre-fluid club records. With a focus on elevating distinctive voices across the underground spectrum, Nu Moda continues to carve out a lane for boundary-pushing producers, positioning “NEXUS 002” as a defining addition to its evolving catalog.
Kicking things off, Greggio leads the charge with “Attack,” a no-holds-barred tech house weapon that sets an uncompromising tone from the outset. Built around ruthless rap vocal loops that inject a menacing edge, the track counters with strategically placed female-led vocals during the breakdown before plunging back into a driving low-slung groove. Buzzing triplets, crisp percussion, and tumbling basslines collide with calculated precision, delivering a relentless, peak-time-ready opener that anchors the compilation’s intensity.
Following suit, Nico Rac’s “Bet You Know Me” leans into groove-driven momentum, pairing infectious vocal hooks with a sleek, rolling rhythm section designed for late-night floors. Knorst keeps the energy surging on “Don’t Stop,” channeling high-tempo urgency through punchy drums and tightly wound arrangement work that locks into a persistent forward motion.
Diving deeper, Andrew Meller’s “Alborada” introduces a more melodic sensibility, weaving emotive synth work through a driving backbone that balances atmosphere with club functionality. Rem Siman’s “Sugar” pivots into a playful yet polished lane, layering vibrant textures and rhythmic bounce into a fluid, dancefloor-focused cut.
On the back half, Jonathan’s “Savage” injects a darker, more percussive edge, harnessing stripped-back elements and commanding low-end pressure to create a hypnotic, late-night tool. Closing it out, PETEL & MADI’s “Who Knows” brings the compilation full circle, blending airy tonal elements with a steady groove to deliver a refined, introspective finale that lingers beyond the final beat.
The release follows the success of “NEXUS 001,” which garnered support across key outlets including EDM Tunes, EDM Identity, The Groove Cartel, and more—further cementing Nu Moda’s emergence as a tastemaking platform within the global house landscape.
Brazil-born, London-based producer Greggio continues to rise as a standout name among industry leaders, with support from Solomun, Vintage Culture, Mau P, Adriatique, Jamie Jones, and beyond. With performances spanning UNVRS Ibiza, Burning Man, E1 London, and Só Track Boa Festival, alongside the launch of his ORGANIC party series, his contribution to “NEXUS 002” signals both momentum and intent at the forefront of the compilation.
“We’re back with the second installment of Nexus on Nu Moda with 7 records that have been absolute weapons in my recent sets. Each one of these artists are truly talented and making music that I find really exciting. Very glad these are finally coming out on my label.” - Max Styler
