Time Warp unveils biggest lineup yet for their 30th anniversary in April 2024

Time Warp

Time Warp is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a two-day party on April 5th and 6th, 2024, at Maimarkt Mannheim. The festival will feature 11 hours of music on Friday across 3 floors with 19 acts, and on Saturday, there will be 19 hours of music on 6 floors with 39 acts. The Time Warp team has curated a unique program for the grand anniversary, including exclusive back-to-back sets, special editions, new floor designs, and surprises.

Headliners include a fine selection of back to backs such as VTSS b2b Anetha and Dax J b2b SPFDJ while returning favourites include Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati, PAN-POT, Karotte, Sven Väth, Nina Kraviz, Marco Carola, Richie Hawtin and Laurent Garnier, and new talents like Clara Cuvé, Indira Paganotto, I Hate Models, Kobosil, and Mochakk amongst many more including Speedy J and Laurent Garnier who are both back having played the first edition in 1994.

Time Warp has evolved over the years, setting new standards and collaborating with international designers to create unparalleled productions. Each dance floor at Time Warp has its own iconic design, sound, and atmosphere, contributing to a unique and immersive experience. The festival is renowned for combining music, light, video, architecture, and art to create extraordinary environments.

Maimarkt Mannheim remains the flagship venue for Time Warp, providing unique design possibilities. The city of Mannheim has gained international recognition as the host of Time Warp, and the festival contributes to Mannheim being titled a "UNESCO City of Music."

Time Warp made its debut on November 26, 1994, at Ludwigshafen's Walzmühle with a focus on a curated lineup and a carefully chosen venue. The festival has maintained this trademark, evolving artistically and technically while preserving its fundamental form—a collection of individually designed clubs offering the best in electronic music.

The festival faced challenges in the early 2000s when techno and house faded from the public radar, but it rebounded, reaching new heights. From 2008 onward, Time Warp has been sold out every year. The anniversary edition promises to be a spectacular celebration of three decades of electronic music and club culture.

Tickets and additional information are available on www.time-warp.de. As in previous years, it's advisable to act quickly: the first ticket tiers have sold out and in recent years, Time Warp has been sold out entirely weeks before the event.
