MOGA Festival’s 2025 Portugal edition saw over 25,000 music lovers party in Caparica

If you ever wondered what it feels like to dance barefoot under a pastel sunset with the Atlantic breeze on your face and a like-minded crowd grooving beside you, MOGA Caparica 2025 delivered that dream in full HD.

Back for its fifth edition, this Portuguese coastal celebration transforms the golden shores of Costa da Caparica into a blissed-out, sun-soaked playground for over 25,000 music lovers from more than 30 countries. Despite the numbers, MOGA somehow still feels intimate, like a well-kept secret you stumbled into and didn’t want to leave.

The festival stretched across six magical days from May 28 to June 2, with the first two dedicated to the laid-back “OFF” program—sunrise yoga, beach cleanups, film screenings under the stars, and sound baths on the sand. It set the perfect pace before things kicked into high gear.

Come Friday, the energy shifted. Three stages pulsed with sound as heavy-hitters like Jamie Jones, Blond:ish, Shimza and Seth Troxler joined forces with rising stars like Zengxrl and Paula Tape. The music drifted across the dunes like a call to gather, and gather we did.

The Moroccan spirit is rooted in MOGA’s origins in Essaouira and was felt everywhere from the decor at the Hafla Stage to the cinematic touch of the Marrakech Short Film Festival during the OFF days. It means MOGA isn't just a party, it's a cultural showcase wrapped in sound and soul in a stunning setting.

As golden hour faded into glittering night, the crowd swelled with joy and the party didn’t stop at sundown. MOGA's famous afterparties kept the rhythms flowing long into tomorrow.
