Electric Daisy Carnival, also known as EDC, is an electronic dance music festival organised by the well-known promoter and distributor, Insomniac. The annual flagship event, EDC Las Vegas, takes place in May every year at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Currently, it's the largest electronic dance music festival in North America.
DATES:
It usually takes place in mid May every year.
LOCATION:
Upon its creation, it takes place at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The exact location is: 7000 N. Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89115.
ACCOMODATION:
Stay in Las Vegas - You can stay in the city of Las Vegas and get a shuttle or a taxi to get you to the festival. The benefit of this option is the convenience of your stay, sleep in a proper bed and take a good relaxing shower, but on the contrary, the disadvantage are the long hours of traffic in order to arrive at the festival plus the fares/fees that you'll need to pay for the shuttle (usually around $100 one way) from an independent company, or the taxi (the costs depends on the traffic).
Stay at Hotel EDC - You can stay at the official HOTEL EDC where many headliners stay during the weekend. The hotel offer accomodations for 3 nights, where you can stay at Deluxe Rooms or Strip View Rooms. All guests will received a Headliner Party Pack with exclusive items. Moreover, the guests will enjoy day parties at Ayu Dayclub all weekend long to see their favourite DJs, late-night entry to Zouk Friday and Saturday (subject to capacity) and pop up DJ sets and surprise experiences throughout the resort. The prices are subject to change and vary per ticket type, however an indicative price is $1,550 + fees & taxes per person for the GA Experience and goes up to &1,760 + fees & taxes per person for the GA+ Experience for the whole weekend.
Stay at the festival campsite - In addition, by staying at the festival campsite, the festival offers the visitors the following options:
Stay in a tent - The tent is provided by the festival with a bed for 2 people and air condition is included as well. The cost of this option is around $400.
Stay in a VR - It is the most recommended option as you just have to pay for the parking and the energy for the generator. The capacity allowed is 8 people per VR. The only disadvantage of this option is again the long hours of traffic to arrive at the festival.
