Framework In The Desert’s Sold-Out, 5th Anniversary Celebration Kicks Off This Friday

Ahead of the weekend, Framework has unveiled a ‘Know Before You Go’ guide, including directions for how to get to the after-hours event from Indio

Long Feng Art Car returns as the main event stage with a full creative update. They will also curate the Chinatown-inspired, interactive Long Feng Night Market - featuring different stands and a tea house - as well as the roaming sound stage Fins of Fortune 

Framework has also announced an exclusive merch collaboration with Valfré, which will make its debut at Framework In The Desert’s 5th Anniversary Edition

Armin Van Buuren, Disclosure (DJ Set), Mochakk, Boys Noize, Marlon Hoffstadt, KETTAMA B2B Prospa, and Max Dean x Luke Dean will headline the weekend, complementing their festival performances with late-night sets at the Atlantic Aviation airport hangar.

Framework In The Desert will kick off its sold-out, 5th Anniversary Celebration this weekend, taking place at the Atlantic Aviation airport hangar in Thermal, CA on Friday, April 10 - Sunday, April 12, 2026. Celebrating a half-decade as the premier festival after-hours series, Framework In The Desert 2026 will feature world-class artists who are also playing the iconic Indio festival just a few miles away, including Disclosure (DJ Set), Armin van Buuren, Mochakk, KETTAMA B2B Prospa, Boys Noize, Max Dean B2B Luke Dean, and Marlon Hoffstadt. 

Ahead of this weekend’s festivities, Framework, one of the world’s leading independent purveyors of underground music experiences, has unveiled its Framework In The Desert ‘Know Before You Go’ guide. The guide includes directions for how to get from the Indio festival to Atlantic Aviation, an event map, bag policy, prohibited items, and more. The ‘Know Before You Go’ also features the event’s food truck roster, which will include Tacos A Mar O Tierra and Nick’s Pizza. 

Long Feng Art Car - the one-of-a-kind, state-of-the-art mutant vehicle that acts as the main event stage - returns to Framework In The Desert with a full creative update, following the installation’s public debut at Framework In The Desert 2025. For this year’s edition, the dragon’s scales and crown egg have been meticulously redesigned, while each decorative element has been reworked and the lighting elevated to create a more immersive and dynamic experience. 

At Framework In The Desert 2026, the people behind Long Feng Art Car will also be curating the Long Feng Night Market: a Chinatown-inspired experience featuring different stands and a tea house. Guests can interact with shopkeepers through playful challenges, sample teas, and more. Long Feng will also bring Fins of Fortune to Framework In The Desert's 5 Year Anniversary, crafting a roaming sound stage with music and light, brought to life by performers, stilt walkers, and visual elements that create an immersive, kinetic experience. Framework has also announced an official exclusive merch collaboration with Valfré. Building on a creative relationship that began with Valfré´s mural outside The Spotlight - Framework’s elevated Hollywood venue - they’ve created a limited-edition hoodie and t-shirt, which will make their debut at Framework In The Desert’s 5th Anniversary Edition. Known for her dreamlike, narrative work, Valfré brings the same imaginative perspective into this wearable collection.
