People of Tomorrow from all corners of the world have made it to the first day of the second weekend of Tomorrowland’s special 20-year anniversary edition in Boom, Belgium. Tomorrowland’s magic is made in large part by its stages. As you will have noticed by now, there’s never a dull moment as you switch between styles such as big room, (hard) techno, psytrance, house, drum & bass, and hardstyle in front of varying backdrops. What’s more, the stages are always a visual fit to the walls of sound they host. Everything, in other words, is taken care of when it comes to the best settings for dancing. And just in case you missed something so far, here’s a tour of all stages.
The ‘LIFE’ Mainstage is Tomorrowland Belgium 2024's crowning jewel, embodying the festival's central theme. This year's stage revisits the enchanting world of ‘Elixir of Life’ from 2016, set in the mystical realm of Silvyra. Designed with an elaborate array of flora, fauna, and harmonious inhabitants, the ‘LIFE’ Mainstage showcases the lush diversity of nature. Created entirely by Tomorrowland's in-house creative team over two years, this stage represents the festival’s tradition of imaginative and immersive experiences.
Nestled in the forests of De Schorre, the CORE stage brings deeper, atmospheric sounds to Tomorrowland. After previous spectacular shows in Tulum and Medellín, CORE returns to Belgium's verdant settings, inviting festival-goers to reconnect with nature. The stage hosts artists like Bonobo, Denis Sulta, and The Blessed Madonna, blending the rhythms of creation with the eternal dance of existence.
The Planaxis stage transports attendees to a marine paradise, echoing the 2018 theme. Featuring a giant conch and elegant fountains, this stage emphasizes the deep connection to water, the original source of life. Artists such as Mind Against and Mahmut Orhan perform here, where the beauty of the oceans merges with the festival's energy.
A marvel of technical prowess, the Freedom Stage boasts a massive LED backdrop and giant dragonflies, creating a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere. This stage's cutting-edge visuals and lighting are designed to enhance the joyous expressions of the ravers it hosts.
The Crystal Garden is a magical, floating stage set on water, shrouded in steam. Its enchanting swamp-like appearance and eclectic beats make it a must-visit. Hosting partners contribute to the stage's allure, promising a steamy and immersive experience.
Situated close to Planaxis, the Melodia stage enchants with the sounds of the harp, symbolizing the Secret Kingdom of Melodia from 2015. With a focus on Mediterranean and Latin house vibes, this stage offers an energetic and captivating experience.
The Atmosphere stage, a massive indoor venue, is the heart of techno at Tomorrowland. The custom-made tent structure and extensive LED screens create a high-energy environment for thousands of techno enthusiasts, featuring relentless beats from top-notch artists.
The House of Fortune is a new addition where music and imagination converge. Designed to be enjoyed from all angles, this stage features up-and-coming artists and offers an interactive experience with Raya, queen of illusions, revealing insights into futures and dreams.
Encircled by giant books, The Library stage blends literary ambiance with vibrant beats. DJs and performers deliver a mix of future house, big room, and hardstyle, making the stage’s soundtrack as compelling as poetry or fiction.
