Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, enthusiasts of the original track, took on the creative challenge of reimagining 'Thank You' as a bootleg for their Ushuaïa Ibiza shows. Collaborating with W&W, they added the distinct sound of their legendary collaboration ‘Arcade’ to transform the iconic melody into a stadium chant. The response from global audiences was immediate and fervent, with crowds worldwide roaring the iconic melody from the very first play. Recognizing the potential, Tiësto offered his expertise to elevate the composition into the festival anthem it is today.
Initially considered as a cover, the project took an unexpected turn when live clips of the record went viral on social media. Dido's management reached out after witnessing the magic at Tomorrowland, expressing her desire to be part of this extraordinary collaboration.
The track has become a rare gem that transcends genres, receiving support from techno, trance, bigroom, hardstyle to tech house and house DJs. It has been embraced and endorsed by artists like David Guetta, Diplo, Steve Aoki, Armin van Buuren, Vintage Culture, Gordo, and many more, gracing grand mainstages and underground sets alike.
The track's influence has extended beyond the music realm, with thousands of fans incorporating the live recording into their social media videos on platforms like Instagram and TikTok. Notably, sports events such as the Champions League and WWE have seamlessly integrated snippets of the track into their social media clips.
'Thank You' stands out as a record that emerged from a perfect storm, capturing a unique moment that resonates across diverse audiences and platforms worldwide.
