Global dance music experience curator Insomniac has announced a significant expansion for the 2026 edition of Day Trip Festival. In a landmark moment, the festival will be among the first events to activate the newly unveiled Long Beach Amphitheater, which will serve as its newest stage in the festival’s largest footprint to date.



The Long Beach Amphitheater will be the largest waterfront amphitheater on the west coast and city's first open-air music venue set against the backdrop of the downtown skyline and waterfront. Designed to reflect the creative grit and diversity of Long Beach, the 11,000 capacity space is where global touring acts meet the city's vibrant energy.​



Amidst the idyllic backdrop of the Queen Mary Waterfront and Long Beach Shoreline Village, Day Trip Festival will usher in the summer with some of the leading acts house and techno. The festival has a storied history of hosting some of the most iconic acts in the genre, including GRAMMY award-winning Australian artist Dom Dolla, 2024’s Best International DJ Fisher, Chicago-native house music superstar John Summit, chart-topping English house duo Gorgon City, and Abracadabra Records boss BLOND:ISH, among many others.



What began as a laid-back Sunday party on The Patio at Academy LA has evolved into a nationally celebrated festival experience, drawing fans from across the country for two days of sunshine, sea breeze, and house and techno’s finest sounds. Now celebrating its sixth edition, Day Trip Festival continues its rise as America’s premier house and techno festival with the addition of the Long Beach Amphitheater stage.
