Insomniac’s Beyond Wonderland SoCal concluded its sold-out 2026 festival this past weekend, welcoming Headliners back to NOS Event Center for two days of world-class production, whimsical stage designs, and an elite roster of talent. Today, the festival announces the 2027 return to NOS Event Center with a limited-time Wondersale taking place until Friday, April 3.
The two-day festival kicked off on Friday, March 27 with the opening party featuring Valentino Khan. Standout sets from day one included from hardstyle favorites Holy Priest and RESTRICTED, hard techno heavyweight Klangkuenstler, melodic bass ‘sad boi’ DABIN, hard dance artist LIL TEXAS, and techno temptress Nicole Moudaber. Headliners got the opportunity to experience the end of an era with NITTI delivering his final set under the moniker, while also taking the stage as SIDEPIECE.
GRiZ returned to perform his first set in Southern California after three years welcoming Kaleena Zanders to the stage to close out the Mad Hatter’s Castle. Over at the Queen’s Domain, Swedish House Mafia member Steve Angello delivered a nostalgic journey with classics that brought the golden EDM era rushing back. As the night reached its peak, Tiësto stepped in with a highly anticipated set, closing out the evening with a wave of euphoric energy.
Beyond Wonderland SoCal’s day two pushed the festival into overdrive, delivering an electrifying run of performances that kept energy surging across the grounds until the very last beat. As the weekend reached its climax, DJ DIESEL brought the Mad Hatter’s Castle to a thunderous close, unleashing a bass-heavy finale that had rail riders headbanging in unison. Zedd created a euphoric, singalong moment with “Clarity,” adding a cinematic close to the night. Throughout the evening, standout sets from global bass house heavyweights Matroda and ALOK, industrial techno force Nico Moreno, Dubstep titans Sullivan King and Black Tiger Sex Machine highlighted the festival’s dynamic sound spectrum, leaving the crowd exhilarated, and already counting down the days until next year.
The weekend brought endless sonic exploration across multiple curated stages from Insomniac’s record labels and brands. Highlights included the Caterpillar’s Garden, led by ‘Lost In Dreams’ on day one and Insomniac Records on day two, and Cheshire Woods, presented by Basscon on Friday and Dreamstate on Saturday. Other standouts were the Looking Glass by Factory93, Sea of Wonder hosted by Night Trip, and a Bassrush takeover of the Mad Hatter’s Castle for the festival’s finale.
Beyond Wonderland SoCal also presented a surprise drone show gliding over the festival grounds each night, in addition to jaw-dropping fireworks and impressive pyrotechnics throughout the evening.
