Beyond Wonderland Midwest Expands to Three Days, Debuts New Venue for 2027 Edition

Following a successful 2026 edition, global dance music experience curator Insomniac today announces the next chapter of its flagship Midwest music festival: Beyond Wonderland Chicago will officially become Beyond Wonderland Midwest beginning in 2027. The festival will relocate from Northerly Island to Chicagoland Speedway, taking place from June 11-13, 2027.

The move marks a significant expansion for the festival, which will debut a three-day format in 2027 after years as a two-day event. With its new home at Chicagoland Speedway, Beyond Wonderland Midwest will evolve into a destination festival experience, featuring expanded stage production, larger experiential offerings, later operating hours, and more room for Headliners to explore the grounds. The move to Chicagoland Speedway also marks a return to a venue with significance in Insomniac’s history, having previously hosted EDC Chicago in 2013.

For the first time, Beyond Wonderland Midwest will also introduce on-site camping, transforming the festival into a fully immersive weekend-long experience. With four nights of camping accommodations, Headliners can look forward to both car camping and RV camping, with additional opportunities for community and programming beyond the festival.

Tickets for Beyond Wonderland Midwest 2027 will be available for purchase beginning Friday, June 19 at 12:00pm CT / 10:00am PT on Chicago.BeyondWonderland.com. Ticket types offered for the on-sale include three-day GA, GA+, VIP, car camping, RV camping, and pre-party. VIP Headliners can elevate their experience with expedited entry, exclusive viewing areas, and premium food and beverage options throughout the festival. VIP access is 21+ only.

The 2027 announcement follows the successful 2026 edition of Beyond Wonderland Chicago, which welcomed thousands of Headliners to Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island on June 6-7, 2026. The festival played host to some of dance music’s prolific names, including ACRAZE B2B Wax Motif, Alan Walker, DJ Snake, Excision, Green Velvet, Layton Giordani, Tiëso, Zedd, Zeds Dead, and more.
