Apple Music Launches Club Live, Bringing EDC Las Vegas to Fans Worldwide

Apple Music today announces Club Live, a new live series streaming exclusively on Apple Music Club radio, Apple Music’s definitive home for dance and electronic music. These live broadcasts will bring Club Radio listeners to some of the world’s most culturally important dance floors in real time, capturing the energy and atmosphere of each moment as it unfolds.

The series launches Friday, May 15th, with EDC Las Vegas, where Apple Music Club Radio will be live-streaming the festival from 7PM-5:30AM PT. The live audio stream, which will be simulcast on Insomniac Radio, will be followed by the rebroadcast of sets from the previous day’s performances, replayed from 5:30AM-7PM PT. Select sets will be available for on demand playback in spatial audio following the livestream, with archival sets from the festival available to stream now on EDC Las Vegas’s curator page.

With more festivals, events, and clubs to be announced, Club Live captures the sounds, scenes, and stories shaping dance music around the world. Future broadcasts will reflect the diversity and global reach of the electronic scene, spotlighting artists and sounds across global club culture from the underground to the genre’s biggest stages.

Club Live removes traditional licensing barriers to make high-quality live DJ performances accessible to all, opening the doors to artists, clubs, festivals, and stages to a worldwide audience. Building on the foundation of Apple Music’s DJ Mix program and the technology developed and launched through it, powered in part by Shazam’s identification capabilities, the series enables mixes to be cleared, tracked, and monetized at scale. The result is a sustainable model that connects physical dancefloors to a global audience while preserving iconic cultural moments and getting rightsholders paid.

Club Live sessions will roll out regularly, from clubs, festivals, and Apple Music’s studios, spotlighting both influential scene veterans and emerging voices, while building an essential archive of live dance music performances unique to Apple Music’s editorial vision. Fans are able to tune in for free on Apple Music Club for live broadcasts and to stream audio on demand with an Apple Music subscription following each broadcast.
