Anna-My Follows Breakout EP With Bass-Driven Club Cut “Ready, Kick It”

Veteran DJ Anna-My introduced her own timeless, textured productions with “In Motion, Always EP” last November – drawing from dusty house records and the Nordic underground scene, shaped by a decade behind the decks. The release picked up international support, earned her a Spotify’s EQUAL Ambassador spot, climbed the Shazam charts, and landed praise from Triple J, CULTR, We Rave You, FAULT and Radio P3.

New single “Ready, Kick It” marks her first original release since the EP. Opening with a sample from 60s soul singer Sam Dees’ “Lonely For You Baby,” the track unfolds into a layered production driven by a catchy bassline, atmospheric plucked synthesizers, and energetic Spanish vocals.

“Putting out my own music for the first time last year was nerve-wracking but so freeing. ‘Ready, Kick It’ came out of a moment of experimentation to find out what’s next after my first EP. “Ready, Kick It” arrives May 29 on Stockholm-based label Genesis Records with one original version and one extended instrumental.
