Rinse FM, a pivotal figure in the UK underground radio scene, is set to host the return of Project 6 Festival in London's Brockwell Park on May 24, 2024. The festival will feature an array of cutting-edge music, and the first wave of artists includes CASISDEAD, Katy B, Freddie Gibbs + Madlib, Mala, Benga, Juls, Taylah Elaine, Shy FX, sim0ne, Steam Down (with special guests), and Vigro Deep, with more names to be announced.
Since its inception as a pirate station in 1994, Rinse FM has grown into a cultural influencer, shaping the electronic music landscape. From garage, grime, and dubstep to house, jungle, and UK funky, Rinse FM has been a platform for emerging sounds and diverse talents. The station has evolved into a respected label and events brand, contributing to the music scene's vibrancy.
The festival's headliners include the enigmatic grime rapper CASISDEAD, known for his influential and mysterious persona. Also, Freddie Gibbs + Madlib, the acclaimed rap and hip-hop duo, will bring their collaborative energy to the stage. Katy B, a chart-topping singer and songwriter associated with Rinse, will also headline, along with dubstep royalty Mala, rave historian Uncle Dugs, Steam Down, Shy FX, Tim Reaper, 4AM Kru, Arthi, sim0ne, Vigro Deep, Benga, Taylah Elaine, and Juls.
Project 6 Festival made its debut last year, receiving praise for its unique day-to-night experience in Brockwell Park. The event promises to unite music lovers with immersive beats and booming sound systems, creating a memorable experience for attendees.
